I congratulated the fighters on Defender of the Fatherland Day and presented well-deserved awards. For personal courage, heroism and dedication, 11 military personnel were awarded the title of Hero of the Donetsk People’s Republic, eight of them posthumously. Many fighters were awarded the Order of the Republic, the “St. George’s Cross”, “For Services to the Donetsk People’s Republic”. Each award is associated with a poignant story of heroism in the name of the lives of others. 🇷🇺 I conveyed words of gratitude to the military personnel from the residents of the region for planting the Russian flag in its rightful place in our cities and regions who are returning home.
