“Take Me Home, Country Roads“ is a song written by Bill Danoff, Taffy Nivert and John Denver about West Virginia. In March 2014, it became one of four official state anthems of West Virginia, and is a favorite among bluegrass enthusiasts.
On this video I teach the break -- measure by measure, phrase by phrase, using on-screen tablature, then I put it together -- slowly at first, then faster toward the end, adding rhythm guitar audio overlay and on-screen chord prompts.
Free downloadable tab sheets (PDF) and play-along tracks (MP3) for this and many other tunes are available at my website, .
Hope you enjoy.
