The Story of a Stolen Porsche 911 and the Belgrade Phantom

Who would steal a Porsche 911, successfully escape, and then announce their joyrides each night for days on end? It sounds like a forbidden fantasy to many car enthusiasts, but the Belgrade Phantom made it a reality in 1979, Yugoslavia. If you want to learn more about this story, I’d recommend watching “The Belgrade Phantom“ (2009), directed by Jovan Todorović. This Serbian film pieces together reenactments, archived footage, and interviews to tell this incredible story.
