Poise And Balance (1932)

Roseray and Cappella the dance stars appear. “Poise and balance - graceful figures in perfection, like the Master Sculptures of old coming to life.“ C/U of Roseray in a fantastic sequined cape and feathered head dress. She begins to open her cape. L/S of Cappella on bended knee before her as she opens out her cape to reveal a sensational barely there bikini affair underneath. It is a rather risque “Moulin Rouge“ style outfit. She is lifted into the air by her dance partner then lowered, she closes the cape around herself. He takes off her head dress then her cape. “Masterpieces in movement - (Many of these poses are taken from famous works of Art at the Louvre, etc.)“ Roseray is lifted high above Cappella’s head in a graceful pose. He holds her aloft with one arm. Some dainty dancing ensues. Very slow, stately posing - almost vogueing! Was an item in Eve’s Film Review issue number 594. Safety print only.
