Full title reads: “Honour to the martyr maid. Thousands attend the annual harvest field service in the little village of Domremy - St. Joan of Arc’s birthplace“. France. M/S of outdoor service held around a cart with an effigy of Joan of Arc on it. Girls in white bonnets hold up laurel wreaths to the effigy as a priest reads from bible. L/S of procession led by priests going along country lane running through fields. M/S of two shire horses pulling cart with effigy on in procession. More shots of priests, as well as ordinary people in procession. M/S of harvest service in rural setting, looking over bowed heads of crowd. A bishop blesses the crowd with a golden crucifix on a stand. L/S of large crowd gathered outside church. C/U statue of kneeling Joan of Arc with her right arm raised.
