Humorous story, of how two strongmen fail to lift the slender looking Miss Resista, London. Full title reads: “MIND v MUSCLE - W. A. PULHAM, champion 9 stone weight lifter of the World and E. Aston, Britain’s strongest man, cannot lift Miss ’RESISTA’ - WHY?“. M/S of W. A. Pulham lifting large looking weight with one arm only. He bends down with it before standing up straight, a small crowd of onlookers claps his success. However, when it come to Miss Resista he does not have the same success. C/U of Pulham with his arms wrapped round Resista’s waist, as hard he tries she cannot be moved. M/S of E. Aston with his back turned. Miss Resista watches as he flexes his shoulder muscles.
