The statue of Nurse Edith Cavell is placed into position at Charing Cross, London. Full titles read: “THE NURSE CAVELL STATUE - is being hoisted into position. L/S of the statue being lifted from the ground by ropes. The plinth is completely surrounded by a mass of scaffolding. A Pickford horse drawn vehicle passes by with “Cadbury’s Cocoa Chocolate“ written on the side L/S The statue is being very gradually lifted towards the top of the plinth.
