Italian National War Memorial (1926)

Full title reads: “Italian National War Memorial inaugurated by King Victor Emmanuel“. Pasubio, Italy. Various shots of crowd gathered around war memorial; many hold Italian flags, some are in uniform. L/S, looking over heads of crowd, of King Victor Emmanuel III of Italy and a senior officer standing on memorial steps. L/S of a tower (the memorial?) on top of a cliff. Soldiers line the path winding down from tower. We see King Victor and entourage of dignitaries and officers walk past them. We see the King get into an open topped car with several officers. As the King’s car drives away the soldiers and dignitaries salute, some with their right arms (like Nazi salute). Cuts exist - see separate record for details.
