M/S as he makes a speech from a platform then sits down as everyone applauds. M/S as he walks past men who salute, others shake hands. Marshal Foch stands and salutes, the camera pans across to Poincare stood in front of him. A war memorial is unveiled, it is a figure of a lady holding out one side of her cloak, Poincare sits on the platform and looks at it. Intertitle - ’Prenant la parole, le President du Conseil, dit: “Que ceux qui veulent faire des comparaisons visitent successivement l’Aisne devastee et la Ruhr intacte.“’ M/S of Poincare making his speech again, M/S of the memorial statue, fade to C/U of the figure, the camera pans down to two figures of soldiers.
