Peasants try to escape the Red Army as they move into Irkutsk, Siberia. Full titles reads: “Revolutionary Russia - Peasants from miles around flock into Irkutsk from the advancing ’Reds’.“ L/S of crowd of peasants standing outside a large building. The camera pans from left to right to reveal more people. M/S of the peasants, they are mainly women and children. They are wearing a varied assortment of clothes, including, head scarfs, hats, shawls and various coats. Some look towards the camera and smile. L/S We see yet more peasants standing outside an even larger building, the camera pans from right to left. Nice M/S of old man sitting on the steps of a doorway looking straight at the camera. He has a scruffy white beard and is wearing a shabby old overcoat. A young boy approaches him and hands him something.
