Lee-on-Solent, Hampshire. Title: “End of 14,000 miles flight led by Wing-Commander Pulford, the four . seaplanes arrive home, having flown from Cairo to the Cape and back“. Low angled shot of three biplanes flying in formation. Various L/Ss of the planes landing at sea. Panning shot of the seaplanes chugging into the beach, several . men wait on the sand, some wade out to into the waves to assist the pilots. M/S of the pilots of one of the planes being carried piggyback style through the waves by two colleagues. Amongst the people on the beach are several press photographers snapping pictures. The pilots are set down on the sand and three senior officers step forward to greet them. M/S of the pilots and crew of the biplanes in a line on the beach, a senior officer shakes hands with each of them. C/U of Pulford chatting with two officers. Cuts / out takes start at 01:30:51.
