Brecon, Breconshire (now Powys, Wales). Title: “Lord Mayor of Cardiff opens new Reservoir and Water Works at Llw-yn-on“. M/S of a vicar, the Lord Mayor and other dignitaries walking towards the works. Outside the works, the Mayor is presented with a key which he uses to open the main door. High angled panning L/S of the works; built in a valley, there is a small tower at the top of a man-made slope going towards the reservoir. C/U of the Mayor giving a speech. M/S of a woman next to the Mayor (his daughter?) being presented with a bouquet. High angled L/S of a crowd of people, including the Mayor and the dignitaries walking around the edge of the reservoir. Cuts / out takes start at 01:26:10.
