Nice shots of people milling about, having picnics on the grass out the boot of their cars and placing bets. King George VI (Prince Albert, Duke of York) and Queen Elizabeth (The Queen Mother, Duchess of York) arrive and shake hands with officials. They are followed by Queen Mary, the Duke (Prince Henry) and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke and Duchess of Kent (Prince George and Princess Marina) and Lord Lonsdale. The royal party walks along the course. Then the horses and jockeys parade before the crowds.
