The Michigan State Police will honor a fallen hero on Friday. A highway dedication ceremony will be held for trooper Caleb Starr. Starr was killed in the line of duty when a drunk driver hit him in Ionia County in July 2020. On Friday, a stretch of US-127, between the Cedar Street exit and the I-96 interchange in Ingham County, will be dedicated as “Trooper Starr Memorial Highway.” Source: Police frequency
