South Carolina: AWest Columbia policeofficer and another person are recovering after a crash near the town limits of Lexington

South Carolina: A West Columbia police officer and another person are recovering after a crash near the town limits of Lexington.  The collision took place around 12:40 p.m. Thursday in the 5400 block of Augusta Road.  Details about what led up to the crash haven’t been released, but the wreck injured the officer and another person in the vehicle.
