Zelenskyy reports ‘successful use’ of long range weapons produced by Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday announced the “successful use” of long-range weapons produced by the country. “Ministry of Strategic Industries reported on its own production. Successful use of our long-range weapons: the target was hit at a distance of 700 kilometers (434 miles)!” Zelenskyy said in a statement on Telegram after a briefing with officials. Zelenskyy added that that he listened to a report on the situation on the front line with Russia in the 18-month-old war, including defensive and offensive actions taken by Ukrainian forces. The Ukrainian Defence Ministry also reported on the arrival of weapons and ammunition, particularly a large batch of armoured medical evacuation vehicles, Zelenskyy also said. “The Ministry of Infrastructure is preparing the next steps within the ‘grain corridor.’ The Cabinet of Ministers, our Office are working on preparations for winter: the energy system, Points of Invincibility, bomb shelters,” he added. He further said that the Ukrainian Interior Minister reported on lessening the effects of Russian attacks in the country. “And of course, (I listened to) intelligence reports on the military and political moves of our enemies. We keep everything under control. We continue our work,” he said.
