The band The Velvet Underground created a new sound that changed the world of music, cementing its place as one of rock ’n’ roll’s most revered bands. Not only did the band change the world of music, but their unique sounds were also closely intertwined with avant garde cinema by Andy Warhol and „The Factory“. The documentary film THE VELVET UNDERGROUND gives immersive insights into how the band formed and the exciting art scene in New York City in the 1960s.
