A clear majority of voters are in favour of Rishi Sunak’s plan to introduce a phased ban on smoking, according to a new Savanta poll for The Telegraph. A survey conducted between April 12-14 found that almost six in 10 people (59 per cent) supported the ban while just one in five (20 per cent) are opposed to the policy.
