Israeli war coverage: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would hold Hamas accountable for killing six hostages in “cold blood.“ The five Israelis and one Israeli-American were confirmed dead after IDF said they appeared to be murdered shortly before troops arrived. Netanyahu said, “I say to the Hamas terrorists who murdered our hostages and I say to their leaders: You will pay the price. We will not rest, nor will be silent. We will pursue you, we will find you and we will settle accounts with you.“ Israeli forces say the Israeli-American hostage, 23-year-old Hersh Goldberg-Polin, was abducted at a music festival in southern Israel during the October 7th attack by Hamas.
