A strong earthquake shakes China this morning! Tremors from Aksu to Almaty!

Early in the morning of March 6, an earthquake of magnitude 5.4 occurred in China. Tremors were felt in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The earthquake occurred at 06:09 local time. The epicenter was located at a depth of 12 kilometers, 128 km from Aksu and 253 km from Almaty. Aftershocks were later recorded. Some people ran out into the street. Residents post footage of the earthquake on social networks. Several houses were damaged as a result of the earthquake. Rescue teams were sent to the affected areas. There is no official information about the casualties yet. Aftershocks are likely in the coming days.
