The World’s First Temple! “About 12,000 years ago, when people of the Neolithic Age started building their sites of workship near present Şanlıurfa, they were not aware that this would change our contemporary understanding of history. After having been in use for 2,000 years the temples’ long waiting period under the soil started. And, in 1995, after about 10,000 yars of silence, they were re-awakened from their beauty sleep and once again exposed to the sun.
