Small plane crash lands on golf course

A video has shown the moment a small plane was forced to make an emergency landing, crashing into a busy golf course in Sacramento, California. CCTV footage captured the near-disaster as the propeller aircraft made a belly landing on the practice green before skidding into a golf shop, narrowly missing a golfer playing nearby. The pilot said he had a mechanical failure when he was 400ft up in the air. He only suffered minor cuts and no one on the ground was injured. Clips of the plane in the aftermath showed how its right wing had been ripped off, its left decimated and its underside ripped and twisted. “Definitely counting my blessings,” Fred Robertson, who was golfing at the time, told CNN. “I usually putt right on that putting green… but just by chance, something told me to hold off before I got here…. It isn’t too often planes fall out of the sky.” #sacramento #planecrash #california
