White House (de-)construction & Vice President’s house repair update, along with a history walk

Big update on construction at the Vice President’s House and at the White House, where the viewing stands in Lafayette Park are now totally removed. The stands, used by the President and the Press, were subject of many discussions on the Internet, but now they are no more and the Park may soon be reopened. We also stopped by the Vice President’s house where work continues on the chimney prior to Kamala Harris’ move-in to the Naval Observatory. Last week was the big chimney, today it’s the renovations on the other side. I also did a few stops along the way to share with you some Washington DC history, including stops at the home of CIA Director Bill Casey, former President Woodrow Wilson, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Chief Justice Hughes, and Senator Kamala Harris’ condo. And we also talk about Sonny Bono as well. 00:00 Intro 00:28 National Cathedral 01:13 Russian Embassy & FBI 2:06 Vice President’s House Repairs 2:29 CIA Director Casey 3:24 Woodrow Wilson & Jeff Bezos 04:23 Justice Hughes House 07:03 Sonny B
