(Why don’t you) Ride on the back of steel scales The hope that grows from seed of evil Useless flower blossoms on the ground, blessings Well done coming this far with me With me 前作『id – イド』（’20年）以来、約2年振りとなるフル・アルバム。コロナ禍で活動が制限される中でも楽曲制作を継続し、練りに練り上げられた10曲を収録。前作同様、コ・プロデューサーとしてDOOMのTakashi“CBGB”Fujitaを迎え、ヴォーカル・ワークに大きく貢献するとともに、ワンフレーズのコーラスでレコーディングへも参加。また前作から参加のWATANABE＜B＞も2曲（「Cave Sorrow」、「朝5時に戦争が始まる」）を提供し、バンドに新たな息吹を吹き込んでいる。またHIZUMI＜Vo＞とのコーラスでの掛け合いも、前作以上に迫力を増した印象だ。 全体的に（彼らにしては）長めの楽曲が多く、この2年間という制作過程を感じさせるとともに、その成果が存分に反映された作品といえるだろう。オープニングから雪崩れ込むように展開される「A Small World」～「暗い部屋の黒い猫 (Black cats in the dark room)」から、聴く者を一気にJURASSIC JADEワールドへと引きずり込み、以降も彼らならではの緊張感とダイナミズムを伴う楽曲が連なる構成はさすがの一言。また彼等には珍しい6分超えの大作で本作のハイライトともいえる「No Cherry Blossom」は、これまでにない楽曲構成で新たな可能性を提示した意欲作だ。 昨今の世界情勢や国内問題を想起させるような歌詞が多く見受けられ、難しい表現を並べ立てるのではなく、簡易な言葉で深淵な世界を描く手法は本作でも健在で、HIZUMIならではのワードセンスが一段と光る内容となっている。またHIZUMIのヴォーカルはさらに自由度を増し、圧倒的な存在感を放ちながら生々しく響く！　コーラス部分での立体的なミックスも非常に効果的だ。 新たなチャレンジや新境地を切り開いたともいえる彼らの最高傑作がここに誕生した！ ご予約はコチラ 《Band Web》 《Band Facebook》 #JURASSICJADE #BTHRECORDS #THRASHMETAL #JAPANESEMETAL #J-ROCK
