Nasa Star 2 kites

A look at the different sizes in the Born-Kites Nasa Star 2 range. I regard these kites as the easiest kite to fly I’ve ever used. And because they’re not lifty, they’re very unlikely to cause you any vertical grief!! (I doubt you could actually jump with one). They make all their power at relatively slow speeds and are much less ’snatchy’ than a medium aspect foil which makes them a lot easier to handle in gusty conditions and because they’re a single skin, they tend to stay up in the lulls more than foils. No cells to pop if you plough ’em head first into the ground and they pull like a train. Extremely stable and predictable. You can run them straight off the bar in ’streetkiting’ mode if you don’t have a lot of space.
