How to paint a ceramic sculpture

How to make a ceramic sculpture look like aged patina. One of the things I’ve always had a hard time is finishing these sculptures. one of the things people should learn is faux painting, it can be quite beneficial in making your sculptures have a different look. I’ve always liked the look of water clay when its wet, but when it dries out it looks terrible. Who knew you had to use wax to make it look nice. Acrylic paint works great, and i prefer it over oils.
