How to make a Viking styled medieval helmet

In this armoring tutorial I’ll show how to make this Viking / Norman helmet. The historical name for this kind of medieval helmet would be “spangenhelm“ or “nasal helmet“. I made parts of this helmet in my previous video too. In this video I’ll show you how to make the whole helmet and with the free templates you can make this Viking helmet yourself! Spangenhelm type of helmets were a popular helmet type in medieval Europe with Vikings and Normans having their versions of it. There are many helmet variations of it which include covers for the ears etc. Usually the shape in Norman helmet was more conical than in this helmet I made, but you can make it like that by altering the templates. I showed how to make helmet templates in my previous tutorial. Also the nose-guard can be made larger like it was made in some medieval nasal helmets. There aren’t many examples of Viking helmets found and they weren’t very decorated but I took some liberties making this. This
