Extremely Rusty Dragoon Saber Restoration

In this video I want to show the restoration of the Model 1881 Russian Dragoon saber. To be more exact, what is left of it. Perhaps this sabre was broken and it was resharpened and then made into a kind of bayonet knife. This saber was found in trenches on the battlefield of World War II. At first I thought it was a Soviet Model 1927 saber, but during restoration I realized it was not. I had some parts and decided to restore this saber.
