Official Stadium 974 Construction: 4K Time-Lapse, FIFA World Cup 2022

Created from 974 recycled shipping containers, Stadium 974 is FIFA World Cup’s first ever temporary stadium venue. As the historic stadium transformed the waterfront in Doha, Qatar, EarthCam was there to capture it for more than three-and-a-half years. After the 2022 World Cup, the stadium is set to be dismantled, travel around the world to Uruguay, and be reconstructed as a venue for the 2030 World Cup - pending the country’s successful bid.
