It was published by Namco in 1990 for the Family Computer and is the second video game in the Megami Tensei series.[1] This is the first game in the series to not be based on the original novels by Aya Nishitani, but it retains much of the gameplay aspects of its predecessor. The game features enhanced music quality through a specially designed memory mapper that generates a higher sound quality, similar to the Family Computer game Madara. Because of this, its cartridge is twice as big as a normal NES cartridge and will not fit into the North American NES.
