The Misunderstood Meaning of IT FOLLOWS

This here is what we at Terror Formed call a very spoiler filled video essay about a very naughty demon that likes to kill very naughty people. The movie is called It Follows (2015), and the video is a deep dive analysis on why it’s actually not a metaphor for contracting that thing you contract when you bake the potato in too much heat. Released in 2015 and directed by David Robert Mitchell, it’s now the 8 year anniversary of a film that (yep, I’m gonna keep saying it) follows you long after you watch it. The subtext of It Follows hasn’t followed quite as well for a lot of people, however. Oh well, it’s all disco when it comes to watching movies.
