World’s Strongest Woman Donna Moore sets new record for Ardblair Stones Challenge in Scotland 2019
During the Donald Dinnie Games held at Potarch Bridge, Ballogie Estate in Aberdeenshire, Scotland in August 2019, Donna Moore, the World’s Strongest Woman, took part in the Ardblair Stones Challenge. The Ardblair Stones are nine reinforced concrete spheres ranging in weight from 18-152kg (40-335lbs). The stones must be lifted sequentially from lightest to heaviest onto whisky butts.
The event is judged on time and number of stones lifted. The previous record for a woman was 5 stones, but Donna lifted 7 stones to 118kg. This event is hosted by Charlie Blair Oliphant and sponsored by Castle Water.
Donna Moore is a British Strongwoman, and winner of the 2016 and 2017 World’s Strongest Woman competition, the 2016 and 2017 Arnold World Strongwoman champion, plus 2018 Arnold Pro Strongwoman champion.
