Tatting and Wire Pendant

The tatting technique shown is encapsulation, in which several threads of different colors are hidden inside a chain tatted with “reverse“ aka “unflipped“ stitches. Individual threads can be brought out at any time to tat rings simulating flowers and leaves. Either normal tatted rings or “Josephine“ rings (made using the same half stitch repeated) can be used. In this video I used Josephine rings. I chose to make a wire frame for a pendant, and attached the tatted motif to it using wire wrapping. More abo
