A short video showing the most notable difference between the 2 versions. Regular is either the bought version from a physical cartridge or eShop. Special (EU)/Gold (US) is the pre-installed game that was available to certain 2DS/3DS XL bundles sometime in 2013/2014. This version has all 10 DLC courses intact. It turns out that dying in the Special Version isn’t instant game over and instead you jump to the next course, it does allow a more reliable way to practice Impossible Pack levels 2 and 3.
