WORLD RECORD MEGA TRUCK JUMP | JAKE BURTON

This time on Chasing Records we are going to show you the biggest Mega Truck or Monster Truck jump off all time. Jake Burton launched his Wild Child Mega Truck into the air for almost 300 feet! As he impacted the dirt at Thunder Alley at the Master’s Motoplex he broke and rolled. That is when the debate began of does it count? The previous World Record Mega Truck Jump was 225’ landed by King Sling with Weston Anderson behind the wheel. The official Monster Truck World Record Jump currently belongs to Joey Sylvester at over 230 feet. Guiness Book of World Records won’t separate the two records but we do as a Mega Truck and Monster Truck are two different machines. We hopped on the phone for this Jake Burton interview to see what he had to say about all of the buzz around the pursuit of these crazy world records and what went wrong on his mega truck world record jump attempt.
