Successful dress rehearsal ahead of the first round of the DFB Cup: Vincent Kompany’s team beat Austrian first division side WSG Tirol 3:0. At Sportpark Unterhaching, Harry Kane (3rd minute) put the German record champions on the road to victory early on. Three minutes after the break, João Palhinha made it 2-0 (48’) with his impressive debut goal. Gabriel Vidović scored in the closing stages to make it 3:0 (80’).
