An illegal migrant has gained millions of views on TikTok by posting videos of his attempts to cross the English Channel in a small boat. Asylum seeker Mada Pasa, believed to be from Afghanistan, has sparked outrage with videos showing him pretending to fire a gun and documenting his journey from northern France to the UK. Pasa, who previously lived in Stockholm, has shared over 60 videos, gathering nearly 20,000 followers and 227,000 likes. Nearly 1,000 migrants crossed the Channel in small boats on the first Saturday of October 2024, the highest single-day total in almost two years.
