Early Childhood Education Program in Stenberg College Canada - ECE grad & international student

After graduating high school in India, Rashanpreet came to Stenberg College when she was 18 years old. Her parents wanted her to have the opportunity to get an education and have a better life. Rashanpreet chose Stenberg College’s Early Childhood Education (ECE) program because she wanted to work with children and families. Within 6 months of arriving in Canada, Rashanpreet was working at a Daycare and is now the Lead Teacher. Rashanpreet credits Stenberg College with helping her to find herself and become a more confident person. In less than one year, Rashanpreet completed the ECE program which allowed her to enroll in BCIT’s 8-month Advanced Diploma in Business Management. BCIT was the perfect choice for her because she eventually wants to manage and then own her own daycare or school. Rashanpreet says that Stenberg prepared her for the rigor of BCIT and after completing the Diploma program, Rashanpreet has continued on to her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) which she will complete
