BC residential school survivor struggles with discovery of children’s graves in Kamloops

WARNING: This story contains disturbing content. Indigenous communities continue to grapple with the discovery of unmarked graves at the former Kamloops Residential School in British Columbia. The finding has also been especially tough for residential school survivors, as it dredges up old wounds. Now, Douglas Hyacinth Eustache, a survivor of the school, is trying to speak up in hopes other survivors will seek help. But as Neetu Garcha explains, the discovery of those remains has also been overwhelming for Eustache.
