When I’m Sixty Four by the Beatles, one of my favorite Beatles tunes. Written in 1967 for the Sgt. Peppers Lonley Hearts Club Band. When I’m sixty four is an irreverent and touching song by the Beatles about growing old with someone you love. Supposedly this was one of the first songs that Paul McCartney wrote when he was only 16! What a genius, I wish I could write a song as funny and poignant at any age.
