“A Ra“ (Song of the Frog) by Eliane Elias from her cd entitled, Bossa Nova Stories. Song written by Joao Donato and lyrics by Caetano Veloso. “A Ra“ was written by Joao Donato and lyrics were added later by Marcos Valle. Another popular version was performed by Sergio Mendes and Brazil 66. There’s also an excellent live version of Eliane performing “A Ra“ here on Y/Tube (recorded this past summer ’09 in Marseille)
