Edwin & Anne: Blinding

Hey, I made a new crack-pairing! You’ll probably recognize this pairing from my last Merlin multi-crossover vid, but I couldn’t help but fall for the idea of this pairing. I don’t know why, but I think it has something to do with how much I adore Edwin (I can’t help it! I freaking love this guy!) and how Anne is just one of those characters that seem to make chemistry with a brick wall seem believable. STORY: Edwin has always admired Queen Anne and has often witnessed her unhappy marriage to the King. When he’s hired as Court Physician, she doesn’t quite like him at first, but soon grows fond of him when her husband is gone. They become friends for a while, what with Edwin making her laugh and Anne welcoming him to dinner, but it isn’t long before they fall in love. They start an affair and often meet in secret until Anne finds that she is pregnant. She tries to convince her husband that she child is his, but when she gives birth her ladies in waiting suspect both her and Edwin. They are arrested and locked in the Tower, but Anne begs Edwin to flee and what happens after is up to you. CLIPS: BBC’S Merlin, The Tudors MUSIC: Blinding by Florence and the Machine. This song was harder to edit to than I thought, but it’s the most fun I’ve had editing in a while.
