Create a PS1 Style Character in Blender - Dev Log #1

In this video I begin the process of creating Ranni from Elden Ring in a low-fi PS1 Style that has a lot of interest nowadays. I explain the methods and reasons behind the first stage of her development and give a few pointers to anyone wanting to create their own character in this style! Feel free to message me in the comments for support or help! What I think is important to point out is this character and process isn’t constrained exactly by the specs of the Playstation 1, and is instead a representation of nostalgia and the ’idea’ of the lo-fi vibe that PS1 games give. At the end of the day what you create is artwork and having the freedom to make calls that stray your work from certain definitions doesn’t reduce it’s value so long as the end product is beautiful.
