TRIP-ENDING Crash, Octopus Tacos, and Dodging Burros: 7 Days on ADV Bikes in Mexico, Day 1

Spending seven days on a motorcycle riding on and off road in Baja Mexico from Cabo San Lucas to San Diego was the adventure of a lifetime. I was incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to take a Baja motorcycle trip on a Yamaha Tenere 700, courtesy of the awesome team at @RIDEAdventures . Sadly, we lost a party member early on when a motorcycle crash in Baja broke Paul’s shoulder and he wasn’t able to continue on the trip with us, but we kept riding our ADV bikes and made it to Cabo Pulmo for some Tacos and Beer, and then further along the off road route through the sand up, over, and around arroyos until finally arriving at our destination of La Paz. Day 1 of riding a motorcycle in Baja Mexico was a blast, but it was only the beginning of the motorcycle adventure of a lifetime.
