SpaceX is targeting June 6th for the fourth flight of Starship. The license modifcation from the FAA has been aquired. The flight will feature several upgrades to Booster and Ship to prevent filter blockage, as well as a modification of the flight path to feature a hot stage ring jettison, as well as a Ship flip manevour.
The mission will attempt a soft splashdown of Booster 11 in the Gulf of Mexico, and a soft splashdown of Ship 29 in the Indian Ocean.
Window Opens: June 6th
Mission: Starship’s fourth fully integrated test flight
Vehicles: Booster 11 and Ship 29
Booster Recovery: Booster will attempt a soft splashdown ~20km offshore simulating a landing back on the chopsticks.
Ship Recovery: Ship will not be recovered but will attempt a controlled reentry, reignition, flip and splashdown in the Indian Ocean.
