🪖🇷🇺 Russian forces in special op zone receive modernized T-72B3M tanks Units of Battlegroup Vostok in the Donetsk People’s Republic have received a new batch of modernized T-72B3M tanks, the Russian Defense Ministry reported. According to the ministry, the tanks will be sent to the contact line after being tested. The T-72B3M has a new engine with 1,130 horsepower. The tank is equipped with a new 125 mm gun with improved ballistics and resources, a Sosna-U sight, a digital ballistic calculator, and a panoramic sight installed at the commander’s place. All this allows the tank to detect and destroy targets faster. The work of the mechanic-driver is facilitated by displays, allowing him to control the operation of the tank’s mechanisms. They also display an image from a rear-view camera. The tank has been equipped with grids protecting it from cumulative ammunition, and “Relikt” dynamic protection.
