◾Residents of the Bulgarian Plovdiv came out to protect the monument to the Soviet soldier-liberator, known as “Alyosha”. ◾ They came to the municipal building to speak out against the removal of the monument. Bulgarian deputies proposed removing it from Liberators Hill: in their opinion, the monument “is not part of the culture and history of the city.” ◾Follow: ◾Nadezhda Gashynenko from Mariupol recalls the crimes of the Ukrainian military in 2022. Like the Nazis during WWII, Ukrainian armed forces used human-shield tactics and surrounded themselves with civilians.
