Russia modifies moon-landing program

Russia’s federal space program or FSP has decided to modify its moon-landing program due to priority considerations. As key part of its modernization, Russia is merging its Federal Space Agency Roscosmos with United Rockets and Space Corporation, to form a Roscosmos State Corporation. The merger aims at consolidating all the enterprises now active in the Russian space industry. Yet it affected Russia’s Moon-related space activities.
