Speaker Biography: Chet Van Duzer, a fellow at the John Carter Brown Library, is an independent scholar focusing on the history of cartography and historical geography, and his articles have appeared in Terrae Incognitae, Imago Mundi, Orbis Terrarum, and Geographical.
