Making a real castle with geometry nodes in Blender - Time lapse
#blender #blender3d #b3d #geometrynodes #geometrynode #3dart #3dmodeling #3d
As lately I’ve been experimenting a bit with geometry nodes in Blender, I decided to put together something I got in mind since a while.
Here the time-lapse of the creation
Final results:
The subject an existent building, namely the Power House at the Boldt Castle in Wellesley Island, New York. Of course I haven’t reproduced everything exactly the same, but I got as close as I could to the original with the methods used, trying to stay faithful to the building and the surroundings.
Geometry nodes speed up the work quite a lot if you want to have many details in the scene with just few clicks (but I guess aficionados already know that). Eventually got this done in the free time of couple days.
Made in Blender 4.0 rendered in Cycles
Post production in Blender compositor and some touches in DaVinci Resolve 18
